Biography
The British actress, best known for her role as Jane Eyre in the 1983 film adaptation of the same name. Before the start of her acting career, she studied ballet. Clarke played the first role in the film in 1972; later she starred mainly in television series, and also took part in theatrical productions. The greatest success for the actress came with a role in the television series "Jane Eyre", in which Zelah Clarke starred in the lead role with Timothy Dalton. This series is considered a classic film adaptation of the novel of the same name by Charlotte Bronte.
