Biography

Dax Ravina was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia where he studied sociology and criminology at Saint Mary's University. He joined the university drama society and was cast in his first play-A Streetcar Named Desire playing the lead role of Stanley Kowalski. He then went on to study acting at the prestigious Ryerson Theatre School in Toronto. Dax was cast in his first feature film Wisegirls by director David Anspaugh (Rudy, Hoosiers). He was the lead in the award winning short film Backjumping which turned into a CBC pilot called Cheap Draft directed by Jay Dahl.
