Biography
Juan Luis Acevedo is a bilingual theater, film, and television actor with over three decades of experience in the performing arts. His training began at the University of Puerto Rico, where he earned his BA in Drama. It was there that he also took his first steps in the audiovisual field, working in advertising, radio, and soap operas. In 1996, he moved to the United States after receiving a grant from Brandeis University, where he earned his MFA in Acting . That summer, he made his professional English debut with CSC in the production of William Shakespeare's "As You Like It.
