

Biography
Varvara (Vera) Krouska (Athens, 1947) is a Greek actress. She began her career as a dancer in Fotis Metaxopoulos' ballet, and began appearing in films in small supporting roles in the early 1960s. Some of her most important roles are in the films: I Blame My Body (1969), Saint Nektarios (1969), The Last of the Comitatzes (1970), The Last of Roupel (1971) and Give Me Your Hands (1971). Vera Krouska, originally from Sparta, was born in Athens and raised in Agios Loukas in Patisia. At the age of 15, she received permission from the then "Exceptional Talents" committee to study at the Drama School of the Athens Conservatory of Music, while at the same time she began taking classical and modern dance lessons with teachers Sonia Morianova, Miriam Swazi and Kay Holden.
