Biography

Bunga Citra Lestari, commonly known as BCL, (born on March 22, 1983, in Jakarta, Indonesia), is an Indonesian singer, actress, and model. She is the daughter of Muchlis Rusli and Emmy Sjarif, Minangkabau descendants from Galuang, Nagari Sungai Pua, West Sumatra. Her father worked at Bank Indonesia, while her mother was a dentist. BCL began her career in the entertainment industry as a model and soap opera actress. She later ventured into singing and released several successful albums.
