Biography

Toru Ohira is a longstanding Japanese actor & voice actor. He's well known for many of his Japanese dub performances, voicing characters such as Darth Vader & Boss Nass from Star Wars, Homer Simpson from The Simpsons, Fred Flintstone from the Flintstones, Pete & Julius from various Mickey Mouse works, the Joker in Batman (1989), Clark Kent/Superman in Adventures of Superman (1938), Jor-El in Superman (1978), Waternoose from Monsters, Inc. , the Mayor of Halloween Town from The Nightmare Before Christmas, and the First Ancestor from Mulan. He's also appeared in many Tokusatsu works, being the narrator for multiple Super Sentei & Metal Hero series, and Chief Kurata in Spectreman.
