Biography
Vladimir Viktorovich Tyulkin (Russian: Владимир Викторович Тюлькин; born 12 February 1955; Semipalatinsk) is a Kazakh documentary filmmaker. Vladimir Tyulkin studied cinematography at the Institute of Theatre, Music and Cinematography in St. Petersburg, Russia, before taking an advanced course in directing at Mosfilm. From 1987 to 1990 he headed the documentary department of Kazakh Film. Vladimir worked as a director on various national TV channels and directed 500 episodes of the TV series Crossroads for Phabar, the Central Kazakh TV Channel.
