She started her career as a model and then went on to host a music countdown show Pepsi Top Ten on Asianet. Poornima, born on December 13, is an Indian actress and television presenter primarily working in Malayalam cinema. Born into a Tamil family settled in Kerala, she is the daughter of Mohan and Shanthi. Her mother tongue is Tamil, and her father practices law while her mother runs a dance school.
