Biography
Július Satinský (* August 20, 1941, Bratislava - † December 29, 2002, Bratislava) was a Slovak actor, comedian, playwright, novelist, publicist, writer and author of children's literature. He was born on August 20, 1941 and spent his entire childhood in Bratislava. His acting tendencies were already evident at a young age, and in 1958 the Hviezdoslav Kubín won the recitation competition. He later studied pedagogy at the Secondary Pedagogical School, but never practiced as a teacher, as his desire was acting, for which he was not accepted. He studied dramaturgy at the Academy of Performing Arts from 1962 to 1966 and worked as a dramaturg from 1964 to 1967 at Czechoslovak Television in Bratislava.
