Biography

Susanne Beyers is a South African actress and writer best known for her roles in Afrikaans television drama series, including Arende, Onder Draai die Duiwel Rond, Soutmansland and Hart van Staal. Other television series she has acted in include Dennekruin 12, Seders val in Lebanon, Die Man met die Lyk om sy Nek, Jasper Le Feuvre, Samaritaan and Beyond Return. Susanne did a BDrama degree at the University of Stellenbosch. Theatre credits include the Merchant of Venice, Much Ado About Nothing and various productions for National Festivals, including Die Uurwerk Kantel, Drafstap of Drentel, Dalk is ons almal so, Susanna die Geliefde and Moeders en Dogters. She has also done extensive work in children's theatre and played a minor role in the 1997 made-for-TV movie Mandela and de Klerk, playing T.
