Biography

Jeong Ga-young (born 1990~) is an independent film director. When she was a teenager, she wanted to be the producer of a popular TV show about movies. That’s why she started a degree in mass communication before realizing that this job wasn’t for her. She then enrolled at the Film, TV & Multi media School of the Korea National University of Arts, but dropped out less than two years after to try writing novels. She would not persevere on that path, though, as she eventually concluded that she didn’t have enough talent for that.
