Biography
Antonius Cornelis "Ton" Lutz (1919 – 2009) was a Dutch actor and stage director. He was married to actress Ann Hasekamp. Twice, in 1968 and 1983, he was awarded the prestigious Louis d'Or, the award for the best Dutch actor. The Ton Lutz prize, for the best stage direction debut int he Netherlands, was named after him. After finishing high school, Lutz worked as a reporter for the Nieuwe Delftse Courant newspaper in Delft, where eventually he found himself assigned to write the theater reviews.
