Biography
Oleksandr Movchan (1932-2006) was a Ukrainian theater and film actor. He finished the Karpenko-Kary Institute of Dramatic Art in Kyiv in 1961, and in the years 1961-1966 and 1971-2006 he was an actor in the Dovzhenko Film Studio in Kyiv, and between 1966-1971 he was an actor in the Soviet Army group in East Germany. His film debut was in 1960 in the film "Кров людська: не водиця" (Krov lyudska: ne vodytsia). He was awarded the title Merited Artist of Ukraine in 2002.
