Biography

An Egyptian singer and actress, she began her career as an amateur singer. She entered a competition held by director Mohamed Karim to choose the lead role in the film "The White Rose. " Musician Mohamed Abdel Wahab praised her voice, but she was unsuccessful due to her young age. Her fame spread quickly, and she became a famous radio singer, proving herself alongside singers such as Umm Kulthum and Asmahan. This prompted Odeon to produce a disc for her.
