is a Brazilian actress who began her career as a model . In 1987, at the age of 16, she decided to sign up for the Musa Verão do Rio beauty contest, in which she was the winner, deciding to pursue a career as a model, photographing for fashion editorials. [ 4 ] In 1990 she signed with one of the largest international modeling agencies, Ford Models , moving to New York , in the United States , where she modeled for several brands. [ 9 ] In 1993 she debuted and became a muse in the opening of the second version of the soap opera Mulheres de Areia , [ 10 ] she acted in an episode of the series Confissões de Adolescente [ 11 ] on TV Cultura . In 1994 she attended the Globo Actors Workshop and had a special appearance in Quatro por Quatro , as the girlfriend of player Renato Gaúcho .
