Biography

Priyankar is a Calcutta based screenwriter, filmmaker and a playwright. He has been interested in different forms of art from an early age but films have stayed with him since he was thirteen. Majority of Priyankar's independent works explore coming-of-age stories of characters separated, by circumstances, from their family, often explored through a satirical lens, During his time at Northwestern University in Chicago, where he earned his MFA in Screenwriting, he worked closely with Warner Bros. , executives Mark Wolper and Kevin Nicklaus of L.
