Biography

Alex Nibley grew up own Provo, Utah with a fascination for the performing arts. He left Utah for the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, where he studied acting, directing and arts administration. He eventually became a teacher in the Conservatory and an associate director. Alex later went to Los Angeles, where he studied film analysis and screenwriting with renowned cinema educator Franišek “Frank” Daniel. He returned to Utah and began teaching Frank Daniel’s approach to filmmaking at UVU in 2002.
