Biography
Born on January 13, 1917, in Codevigo, Veneto, Italy, Sergio Grieco was a prolific director and writer. He began his career in the Soviet Union in 1931, working as an assistant to Nikolai Ekk on the first Soviet sound film, Road to Life. Upon returning to Italy, Grieco worked as a script supervisor and assistant director before making his directorial debut with Il sentiero dell'odio (1950). He directed a variety of films, including Il sergente Klems (1971) and Beast with a Gun (1977). Grieco was known for his versatility, directing films across multiple genres such as peplum, spy thrillers, and crime dramas.
