Biography

Dora de Assis is an actress, playwright, author, and visual artist. Her two books, “Poesia Rouca” (2020) and “Lagartixa Sem Rabo” (2024), were published by Editora Philos. She holds a degree in Visual Arts from UERJ (2021) and a degree in Performing Arts from Célia Helena (2024). She has worked as an actress for eleven years, with her film debut in the film “Mate-me Por Favor” (2015) by Anitta Rocha da Silveira. Her latest work in cinema was as Sandra Pêra in “Homem com H” by Esmir Filho and as Daniela in “Adeus, Verão!
