Jasmine Felicia Crockett (born March 29, 1981) is an American lawyer and politician serving as the U. S. representative for Texas's 30th congressional district since 2023. She is a member of the Democratic Party. In the 118th Congress, Crockett served as the Democratic freshman class representative between the House Democratic leadership and the approximately 35 newly-elected Democratic members.
