Biography

Sabina Jafar is a film director, screenwriter, and conceptual artist. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Management and a Master’s degree in Sociology of Management. She also studied screenwriting at the Azerbaijan Film Academy and contemporary art at Yarat Contemporary Art School. Her directorial debut, the short film “Sonlular”, was screened at the Baku Short Film Festival, where it won first place in competition. Her second film, “Səhəri Dirigözlü aç”, was selected for several student film festivals.
