Biography
Johannes Christiaan Baay (1904 - 1991) was a Dutch actor. Starting out as a civil servant, he made his stage debut at the age of 26 at the Amsterdamsch Tooneel company under Albert van Dalsum and Eduard Verkade. He has subsequently been associated with a great many Dutch theater companies. With the exception of the war years, he was active on stage, as well as film and television, until he was in his late seventies. Because he remained active into old age, the number of productions in which he participated is extremely extensive.
