Her acting career began while she was at sixth form college when actor Adrian Rawlins encouraged her to audition for the feature film "My Brother Tom," in which she won a role. She has since appeared in various television and film roles, including "The Cambridge Spies" (BBC), "Telling Lies" with Jason Flemyng, and "Submerged" starring Sam Neil.
