Biography
Vipin Vijay is a Mollywood/Malayalam cinematographer, film director, and screenwriter. He is the first Indian to attain the prestigious Tiger Award at the Rotterdam IFF for his Malayalam documentary film “Video Game,” and one of the two filmmakers in Focus at the 10th edition of the International Documentary & Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK). He was born in 1977, Kannur, Kerala, India, and grew up in Calicut. Vipin is the son of E. Vijayan Nair (Professor of mechanical engineering at the “National Institute of Technology, Calicut), and Vasanthi Vijayan.
