Biography

Khalid Boudou (1 October 1974) is a Dutch writer of Moroccan descent. Boudou started writing short stories and poems. He received the El Hizjra Literature Prize for his short story De Stemmendans (Dance of Voices). He is best known for his 2001 novel Het Schnitzelparadijs (Schnitzel Paradise), which was made into a film by Martin Koolhoven in 2005. In 2002 the book was awarded the Golden Ezelsoor.
