Biography

Amman (born Aman Shaw) is an Indian actor known for his work in theatre, web, and independent film. A dedicated performer since 2017, Amman began his artistic journey through mime and musical drama, debuting at the 40th Padaboli Mime Festival by Jogesh Mime Academy. He has since appeared in a range of powerful stage performances, including: Bon-Geyo in Gajna Chorer Bajna (Thealovers) Paran Karta in Bodhodhoy (Swarupnagar Institute of Performing Arts) Ray Saheb in Tinti Prosno adapted from Leo Tolstoy And, Ghost of the Past in A Christmas Carol (Drishti Ekhon) Amman is classically trained through workshops and masterclasses at esteemed institutions such as Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, including: Masterclass with Anurag Kashyap and Theatre on Screen.
