Biography
My name is Albaraa Wail, and I am a filmmaker and media professional dedicated to telling stories about human strength, cultural identity, and the challenges faced by people in difficult situations. I graduated from Düzce University, where I studied film direction, and over the past five years, I have worked in various roles within the media and film industry, focusing on innovative and creative projects. My first film, "The Boy Of The Fish," was influenced by a vivid dream I had and my desire to share the experiences of children living in refugee camps. I filmed this movie in northern Syria using an iPhone, aiming to capture the genuine emotions of the children. The film explores themes of freedom, confinement, and the power of imagination.
