Santino Carmelo Pasquale Benedetto was born in Cambridgeshire, England, to an Italian-English father and a Czech-English mother, in February 2007. He did his GCSEs at Impington Village College from 2018 to 2023, and then moved onto taking his A-Levels Hills Road Sixth Form College from 2023 to 2025, at which his film-making career begun. Primarily, he prefers to stay behind the camera, but has been known to flex his acting chops and appear upon the screen - as seen by his award-winning leading performance in "Double Bluff" - and has worked as a director, writer, and editor, as well as occasionally a boom-mic operator; often Santino has a lot of uncredited work, such as lending his home to be a set, supplying costumes, offering advice on unfinished scripts and cuts, and so on. He was the mind behind "Double Bluff" which he created for his Film Studies NEA, and also helped Dylan Gracey with his surrealist masterpiece, "Make a Cup of Tea", which he also acted in. He is also known for his heavy contribution to Zack Khan's family-focused documentary, "Keeping up with the Khans".
